BaaBaaBloom was the result of a creative thinking session. We started out with an idea and allowed our selfs to really just go for it!

If you haven't I highly recommend it!

Now, we had a lot to learn and we are still trying to figure things out, but its been the funnest learning adventure ever! (if you don't count social media 🫣 that has been hard!😆 .....but I am learning a lot) You content creators are really talented! So much to figure out.

This will be our 3rd season running the You-Pick. And I think this will be our best year yet! Im so excited!

Snapdragons!
Did you know that snapdragons are a cool season flower? Meaning they love the cool temps of early spring and late fall!?

I did not 🫤

I just learned that this year and I'm having such hard time wrapping my brain around it. But it does explain why I have had such a hard time getting good snaps. I was planting them in the heat of the summer!

One thing I have learned in my life is the necessity of creativity. Everyone needs to create. No exceptions. We may all create in different ways and have our own areas of expertise, but we all must create.
For me its what fills my soul and gives me purpose. I truly feel alive when i create.
My garden and my home are my personal favorite creations. I love the endless opportunity to improve and make them unique and very personalized.
I also feel like the whole world benefits when we create. Can you imagine how cool of world we would live in if everyone could create without constraints!!
I get so excited thinking about the possibilities. For now, I just imagine how cool it would be if everyone planted flowers in their yard! Can you imagine how beautiful your town alone could be! So fun to think about.

I am actually amazed at how real the benefits of gardening really are. It really does boost you mood and take away anxiety. I experience this every single time I work in my garden. It genuinely brings me joy! ...Even when I'm struggling against the relentless weeds without success!

I love Idaho. We're situated in the southeastern corner, and it's gorgeous here. We experience all four seasons, with plenty of variation throughout the year, which really makes me appreciate each one.
Spring is my favorite season—the lush greenery is just so good.
Autumn follows as a close second, with the transformation of the leaves being absolutely enchanting.
What do you love most about Idaho?

To create a stunning flower arrangement, incorporate these four components: prominent blooms (large eye-catching flowers), filler flowers (smaller blossoms that add volume), spikes (which provide depth), and greenery (to complete the look and make the flowers stand out).

Keep adjusting until you're satisfied with the result!

The zinnia breeding scene is booming! The variety and abundance of new colors hitting the market are thrilling.
I've managed to get a few of the latest varieties, but there are still so many more I desire. This year, I'm planning to plant numerous rows of zinnias. It's going to be a so beautiful!

I am starting these flowers now. These are cool loving flowers and do well in the spring time. I always seem to miss the planting window for these guys, but I'm changing my ways 👍

Does anyone in Preston grow sweet peas?! Please help me!

This year I want to grow a sweet pea Trellis. I never start my seeds early enough, so this year I am starting next week. I hope this will be the secret to making it happen.

Here are some more tips I picked up for growing sweet peas:
🌸 Start indoors early
🌸 Plant into rich soil
🌸 Grow at cool temps
🌸 and keep cutting the flowers

It’s coming to end all too soon!!
I’ve been examining the flowers and so many are fading and past their prime. It’s time to call it.
This season was much shorter than I wanted and I’m kinda sad about it. With the June freeze it just took longer for things to get going. But I’ve learned so much. And I’m seeing how to really make this flower farm pop!
I have lots of excitement about next year and hope to have a much longer season.
A huge thanks to all that came. It means so much to me

This Saturday I am so excited to announce that we are doing Yoga and a sound bath!!

I am so happy, it’s the best combination!

Come at 6:00pm and plan for an hour of gentle yoga and a sound bath. Bring a yoga mat and a blanket to keep cozy during the sound bath.
Afterwards you can pick your own bouquet to take home

Cost will be by donation plus you get 10% discount on the flowers if you choose to pick flowers too! It’s not required though.

Don’t worry about bringing anything; we provide you with a jar, snips, and water Payments can be made via Venmo or cash, and as long as one person in your group pays and picks flowers, feel free to bring along as many friends as you’d like. And if you're unsure about arranging flowers, no problem! Our blooms are already stunning, so you can't go wrong!
